Members are the action-track participants. Supporters are the financial-track supporters. You can be one, the other, or both. We are building these pathways honestly and step by step — not pretending systems exist before they do.

- Join as a basic Member — read and share our analysis, follow Act This Week priorities, and take the action steps in our articles.
- Follow action opportunities as they are published — we do not yet have formal volunteer teams, local chapter leadership, or structured advocacy coordination.
- Support the work financially through the currently available pathway described below.
- Subscribe for updates as new campaigns and action guides publish — get the monthly briefing on the Contact page.
What will open later
As the organization grows, we intend to add clearer pathways — honestly labeled when they become real, not before.
- More structured volunteer opportunities and issue-specific advocacy teams.
- Recurring campaigns and coordinated advocacy initiatives.
- Leadership roles as programs and staffing develop.
- Stronger supporter infrastructure — recurring giving tiers, Stripe checkout, and formal financial transparency as a standalone organization.
We will update this page when new pathways open. We will not imply they are live before they are.
Current support and donations
Stripe and a dedicated nonprofit donation flow are not ready yet. Until Excelsior Ideas completes organizational and banking setup for direct giving, financial support may route through The Forest and Trees.
- Support given through The Forest and Trees is not tax-deductible as a contribution to Excelsior Ideas.
- A more formal support structure — with clear receipts and giving tiers through Excelsior Ideas directly — is planned once the right entity and financial setup are in place.
